TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS

 

Rules:

Olympic-style sparring rules as goverened by the World Taekwondo Federation under the auspices of USA Taekwondo as the governing body under USOC shall apply.

Membership Requirements:

No membership requirements are needed. Athletes can be a member of AAU, USTU, USA Taekwondo, USSSA or any other organization or a non-member to compete in the Peach State Open Taekwondo Championships.

Uniform/Gear:

Only white uniforms will be allowed. Trim on collar, school name or back ofuniform top, and school patches will be allowed. Headgear, chest protector, mouthpiece, instep pads, and shin and forearm guards must be worn to compete. Groin cup is required for male participants.
E-Hogu Uniform/Gear:

E-Footgear is required for E-Hogu Divisions. E-Footgear will be avaible for sale on-site for $55 or IF ordered in advanced for $45 from david.wilch@gmail.com prior to September 12.

 

 

DIRECTIONS TO VENUE

 

To Kennesaw Mountain High School:

 

From I-75 north or south, exit at exit 271 (Chastain Road) proceed to end of ramp, turn left (coming from South) or turn right (coming from North), proceed on Chastain Road (which changes name to McCollum Pkwy) to state route 41, turn right at light on to Cobb Pkwy North / route 41.  Proceed to first stoplight; turn left on to Kennesaw Due West Road.  School is about 1 mile on left.
