FORMAT (CONDENSED)

Competition
Format:
Pool play to
bracket play. Three games guaranteed.
Uniforms:
Uniforms must
have clearly visible numbers on front and back. Georgia High School
Association rules state that you may not wear high school uniforms.
Rules:

Georgia High School Association rules
will apply for all games.

Game lengths will be conducted in
accordance with AAU rules for 13U - 9U age groups.
·
Game lengths will be conducted in
accordance with Georgia High School Association rules for 18U - 14U age
groups.

The State of Georgia
Eligibility:
1. July
1, 2009 shall be the determining date for the age of the players. Any
player competing in a specific age division must remain in that age
division throughout the Georgia Games tournament. (Note: A player may
play in an older division, but never in a younger division and may only
play on one team). *Note: The team must play in the oldest age
grouping of their oldest player.
2. Proof
of age is required to be with the coach at all times including AAU cards,
YBOA cards, or birth certificates must be available for inspection upon
check-in.
Awards:
Gold, silver
and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three teams in each division.
Protests:
Protests must
be submitted in writing within 3 hours of said protest along with a $100.00
cash fee. Fees will be forfeited if the protest is not upheld.
Waiver:
Agreement,
Release and Waiver of Liability must be signed by a parent or legal
guardian. This form may be reproduced to send home with individual
athletes.
