Saturday: Boys and girls I-III STJ
                    Men and Women I-X STJ
                    (Slalom 2C, Trick 1C, Jump 1C)

Sunday: Finish any remaining first round-second slalom

COMPETITION INFORMATION & REGULATIONS

Format:

Friday July 10^th             Junior Development Clinic and Tournament Practice

Saturday July 11^th      Junior & Senior,  Slalom  Trick and Jump

Sunday July 12^th            Final, Slalom Trick and Jumping

Skiers will compete in:

1) “slalom”, which requires the skier to negotiate a series of buoys with split second reaction, while increasing the boats speed or shorting the skier’s rope; 

2) “tricks”, which requires the skier to perform surface and air acrobatics trying to score the most points for their efforts; 

3) “jumping” which pushes the skier to accelerate up to speeds over 60 mph towards a fixed ramp and fly through the air as far as possible and land safely.  

The Championships will be held on the man -made Ski Lake in the community Southern Waters. .

Past and future champions will all be present.

Endorsed By: USA Water Ski (USAWS), American Water Ski Association (AWSA), Southern Region (SR), Georgia State Water Ski Federation (GSWF), GHSA, USOC, & GRPA

T-shirts:

All registered skiers receive a Georgia Games Championship T-shirt.

Water Skiing Sports Specific Merchandise will be available on-site for purchase.

VENUE DIRECTIONS

From North-  South on I-75, Take exit #187, bear right (south) on Highway 42 (through town) travel 13 miles south on 42.  At highway 74 (Thomaston Rd) turn left .  Proceed ¾ of a mile, entrance to Southern Waters on right use the first entrance.  Follow signs 

From South- .North to I-475, Take exit #5, head west on SR 74 (Thomaston Rd) 18 miles.  Southern Waters Community on left, use second entrance on left.  Follow signs
